COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF FOUNDATION NAMES INSPIRIT THE EXCLUSIVE VIRTUAL REALITY PARTNER GOING THE EXTRA YARD FOR TEACHERS

The partnership signifies a powerful commitment to equipping teachers with cutting-edge tools and ushering in a new era of innovative and impactful learning experiences.

ATLANTA, GA, Sept. 23, 2023 Inspirit, the Atlanta-based, research-backed EdTech startup, today announced a new relationship with the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFPF) aimed at empowering educators with immersive technology as part of its Extra Yard Makeover project. As CFPF’s exclusive virtual reality (VR) provider, Inspirit has committed to awarding free access to its Innovative Learning Hub to designated schools across the country.

The easy-to-use digital platform offers teachers a premium library of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality experiences designed for middle and high school students. Inspirit’s immersive STEM and career content enables students to explore subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and trade-related careers training in a cross-platform environment.

“We believe in the power of immersive technology to transform education for meaningful learning in the classroom,” said Aditya Vishwanath, Co-Founder and CEO, Inspirit. “Our new relationship with the College Football Playoff Foundation paves an exciting path towards ensuring all teachers have access to VR and related technologies, ultimately fostering a richer educational experience.”

Technologies such as virtual reality have emerged as critical tools to help students visualize abstract concepts and improve their learning outcomes in STEM subjects. With immersive tech, students are able to explore subjects in ways that previous generations didn’t have access to. For example, they can travel inside a human body and explore the composition of cells, venture into a volcano and explore central earth, test drive a career, or reach distant planets without ever leaving the classroom.

“We are thrilled to team up with Inspirit to deliver VR technology to  teachers.,” said Britton Banowsky, executive director of the College Football Playoff Foundation. “This partnership is an exciting opportunity for us to deliver the kind of cutting-edge learning technology that educators need to engage with their students in the classroom.”
