THE HIGH POINT OF THE 2020 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FESTIVITIES WILL BE FOR EDUCATORS

This winter, the Extra Yard for Teachers is heading to New Orleans to celebrate teachers. Join us at the Fillmore Theatre for live performances, educational speakers, and special guests! Teachers will have several opportunities throughout the evening to learn, win prizes, and have fun. FREE for all Louisiana educators, the College Football Playoff Foundation aims to empower and inspire teachers from 4-6pm through giveaways, education, and celebrating the work they have done. By ending the evening with an after party, we hope that teachers will have the chance to connect with peers from the Summit and the 2019 CCSSO Teachers of the Year as we look forward to a new school year full of empowered teachers!

Speakers, Performers, and Guest Appearances include:

Rodney Robinson, 2019 National Teacher of the Year

Sydney Chaffee, 2017 National Teacher of the Year

Dr. Bernard Harris, CEO, National Math & Science Initiative

Dr. Henderson Lewis, Jr., Superintendent, NOLA Public Schools
